The Adult Intensive Care Unit (AICU) and (CICU) is part of a busy tertiary referral centre and comprises of 24 beds split over 2 clinical sites at the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals. The case mix is challenging and ranges from post op surgical and medical work to more complex cases such as major trauma, neurological medicine, cardiac and vascular, as well as pancreas, kidney & bowel transplantation. This broad case mix offers an exciting opportunity for you to develop a diverse range of critical care skills.
